Support for Teen Girls: A Summer Group to Build Confidence and Manage Social Anxiety

Is your teen daughter feeling anxious about school, friendships, or social situations? You're not alone—many parents are watching their daughters struggle with social anxiety, low confidence, and isolation, especially during transitional times like summer or back-to-school season. This summer, we're offering a supportive group therapy program designed to help teen girls feel more empowered, connected, and prepared for what’s ahead.

Why Group Therapy for Teen Girls?

Group therapy is a powerful way for teens to realize they’re not alone in their experiences. Sharing space with others who understand what they’re going through helps build confidence, normalize their feelings, and create meaningful connections.

Whether your teen is struggling with:

  • Social anxiety or avoidance of school

  • Difficulty making or maintaining friendships

  • Feeling misunderstood or isolated

  • Worry about the upcoming school year

…this group can help her feel seen, heard, and supported—while also giving her real tools to manage those challenges.

What Your Teen Will Learn

Coping skills to calm anxiety before and during stressful moments

  • Tools for navigating tricky situations like class presentations, sports tryouts, or meeting new people

  • Ways to recognize and manage physical symptoms of anxiety (like a racing heart or an upset stomach)

  • Confidence in social interactions—from small talk to deeper friendships

Emotional regulation and resilience in everyday school and social settings
