Loneliness

Loneliness is a serious feeling that affects many people. Here are four important facts to keep in mind:

1. Studies have shown that chronic loneliness can increase the risk of early death by 14%.

2. Chronic loneliness also increases the risk of developing cardiovascular disease.

3. Did you know that over 60% of lonely people are married? It's true! Couples can feel isolated and alone when they stop sharing their innermost thoughts and experiences. If you're feeling this way, you're not alone. It's important to remember that sometimes the fear of not having a deep connection with your spouse is valid, but it can also stem from other factors.

4. It's important to note that loneliness is not solely determined by the number of friends or relationships a person has. Instead, it is based on the subjective quality of those connections and whether someone feels emotionally or socially disconnected from others.
